Complete the work within the schedule authorized by the client and quickly react to the additional labour that required the dispatch of 40 extra men. In order to prevent work accidents, our CNESST manager WSIB made sure that two safety meetings were held daily throughout the shutdown.
Construction of a drinking water plant at La Macaza Institution (Correctional Service Canada) Government of Canada

Installation of two (2) new water intakes at a depth of ± 40 feet. Restricted work with prison security, inside a penitentiary.
Upgrading and increasing the treatment capacity of the wastewater treatment plant and overflow works for the city of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.

Treatment capacity: 27,700 m³/d.
First advanced secondary treatment of wastewater flow settling.
Rehabilitation/increase in capacity of the Victor pumping station.

Installation of a pumping station with a cage and a filtering tip.
Demolition of 60 MPA of concrete in a confined space over 35 feet deep.

Carry out the work within the agreed upon schedule and quickly react to the unexpected need for additional work (that had not been considered beforehand) without adding men for labour. The experience and resourcefulness of the employees involved led to the success of this planned shutdown. The person in charge of the CNESST held two safety meetings daily throughout the shutdown, in order to prevent work-related accidents.
