It was a large-scale, multidisciplinary project requiring coordination across multiple trades and the implementation of advanced technologies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key works included:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dismantling and rebuilding of screens, channels, disinfection, and chemical treatment systems;<\/li>\n<li>Installation of an innovative sludge drying system powered by biogas, a first in North America;<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of odor control processes;<\/li>\n<li>Modernization and optimization of processes to achieve the new nominal capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This modernization project helps improve the plant\u2019s environmental performance, reduce its energy footprint through biogas recovery, and ensure effective and sustainable wastewater treatment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High technical complexity and coordination required to work simultaneously on multiple critical systems;<\/li>\n<li>Integration of innovative equipment and processes while maintaining continuous treatment operations;<\/li>\n<li>Management of environmental and regulatory constraints on a large-scale construction
