The work was urgent because soil compaction above the structures risked settlement and major failure. The intervention replaced the culverts with structures meeting current standards, ensuring durability and safety of the road section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The work carried out included:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excavation of existing materials;<\/li>\n<li>Temporary soil shoring;<\/li>\n<li>Removal of TTOG pipe sections at the ends of the concrete culvert;<\/li>\n<li>Installation of new HDPE pipe sections at the South culvert;<\/li>\n<li>Installation of new HDPE pipe sections and pipe insertion work at the North culvert;<\/li>\n<li>Roadway backfilling with granular materials;<\/li>\n<li>Removal and placement of asphalt;<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning of side ditches and outlets;<\/li>\n<li>Placement of riprap at culvert ends;Hydraulic seeding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This project protects both citizen safety and the integrity of the local ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design of temporary shoring over eight metres high with internal engineering for culvert insertion;<\/li>\n<li>Pumping water management to carry out the work;<\/li>\n<li>Tight schedule before the winter
